The kids loved hiking around the fjord while my girlfriend and I enjoyed the easy access to horse riding options. Freya's homemade lamb stew was definitely a highlight of our trip.
My wife says that more options for kids at breakfast would be great.

Everything is very good here, had a such great stay for one night. Our hotel is set in a central location near Grimsey island and an early ferry in Dalvik.

Loved thenice and neat Double or Twin Room with fine views. Totally felt cozy after camping out in the car park waiting for the check-in. At least we weren't cold! Plus, the vibe in the building was super chill.

great village and friendly, helpful staff
The original booking, later cancelled was for twice the price. I checked two weeks before the holiday and rebooked it at 70 pounds a night. Why was it so expensive to book 3 months in advance?

Incredibly nice staff, lovely views of the mountains and fields out of town, everything is really good. The atmosphere of the hotel is quiet. It offers excellent service and wonderful breakfasts. The location is particularly good and amazing and they have parking onsite.

Totally loved this place! The breakfast spread was, like, super legit-fresh fruit, bread, and all the good stuff till 10! Our room was clean and cozy, and the vibe was just chill. Met the manager who shared some rad Icelandic stories while we sipped drinks. Wish there were more dining spots around though!

only problem is there is no elevator and we were on the second floor which made it difficult to bring up the suitcases .

The recently remodeled hotel was very nice with a super view.
The hotel had not fully opened for the summer and we had to phone the manager to open it up. Once in, the service was very fine.
